Best Facedown Records Bands
The most original/creative for the label, disbanded, active, or currently on a different label: the best they have to offer. |
1 | Those Who Fear
Somewhat like Gideon's twin brother, but maybe a bit more aggressive. Fun for what it's worth. |
2 | Letter To The Exiles
A forgotten little gem in Facedown's catalogue. Technical metalcore reminiscent of The Burial or August Burns Red. They rip. |
3 | Saving Grace
Thrashy, aggressive, and fun guitar work, with a tiny bit of hardcore sprinkled in. |
4 | For Today
After Facedown, things started to go downhill. Their final Nuclear Blast release was punching, though. And a lot of fun live. |
5 | Hope For The Dying
The tightest and most solid progressive metal on the label. |
6 | Gideon
Bridging the gap between metalcore and melodic hardcore. Happy to see them on Equal Vision. Calloused, cold, and out of control. |
7 | Flee the Seen
Classic Facedown. Female fronted post-hardcore in lieu of Senses Fail or Funeral for a Friend. |
8 | Comrades
Formerly a Blood & Ink band. An interesting three-piece progressive/post-hardcore outfit. Maybe Facedown is getting more variety now. |
9 | Poured Out
xCrowdkill for Jesusx
Probably the most vicious Facedown band to date. Chairs are known to be thrown during their sets. |
10 | Rival Choir
Even their former Mouth of the South days absolutely rip. Mathcore/metalcore in lieu of Norma Jean. |
11 | Everything in Slow Motion
After the fall of Hands, Everything in Slow Motion became Faceown's premier post-metal/rock band. |
12 | Impending Doom
The best deathcore on the label. Their old slam metal days are gruesome, too. Maybe they'll come back once and for all. |
