Exile on Main St. SONGS RANKED

I just recently listened to Exile on Main St. again and I decided to rank all the songs on the album! They are my all time favourite band too so why not? Just my opinion btw
18The Rolling Stones
All Down the Line

I love the Stones but this song is a bore
17Stop Breaking Down

The other cover of this album is just tiring to listen to at times.
16Sweet Black Angel

Forgettable song
15Sweet Virginia

Not a big fan of the country songs on the album but this is ok.
14I Just Want to See His Face

The song that fades in after the amazing Ventilator Blues. It is more of a "loading screen" if you will but a good one.
13Shake Your Hips

This is actually the song that got me into the Stones even though it was a cover xD. But looking back it wasn't that great of a song.
12Casino Boogie

Great song overall and another perfect casino song xD
11Turd on the Run

Replicates the energy on Rip this Joint and does an okay job.
10Soul Survivor

Good closing track but not as good as the tracks below
9Ventilator Blues

Mick Taylor's only songwriting credit on the album. The closing lyrics are awesome.
8Rip This Joint

The fastest track on the album influences many hardcore bands. You can hear some influence :)
7Torn and Frayed

The best country-influenced song on the album IMO. IIRC, it is about something that is damaged beyond repair and is left behind to rot.
6Let It Loose

The longest song on the album delivers. The emotional riff at the start sets the mood perfectly.
5Happy

My favourite Keith song other than "You Got The Silver". And the way the guitar switches the main riff with the horns on the track is amazing. It's hard to explain so just listen to the track.
4Loving Cup

Mick Jagger delivers one of his best vocals on this track imo
3Shine A Light

"May the good lord shine a light on you" Now I'm not religious at all but the first time I heard those lyrics, it gave me the chills. Amazing lyrics.
2Tumbling Dice

The gospel influence is fantastic. I have no more words to describe it tbh. Perfect casino song too
1Rocks Off

The opening riff is just amazing. Fantastic opener and this was my theme song in 9th grade LMAO! Just amazing.
