channel ORANGE Ranked
Ranking the greatest album of all time. Also, this is just a personal list, so unfortunately while Pyramids is probably the objectively best song on this album, it's not quite my personal favorite. |

Start - It's literally just static noise. |
16 | | Frank Ocean channel ORANGE
Not Just Money - It's literally some woman talking about getting a hot link. |
15 | | Frank Ocean channel ORANGE
Fertilizer - It's cutesy, but it's just a short interlude cover. |
14 | | Frank Ocean channel ORANGE
End / Golden Girl (feat. Tyler, the Creator) - I love this skit and Voodoo. Golden Girl has sweet summer vibes and it's a nice little hidden track. |
13 | | Frank Ocean channel ORANGE
White (feat. John Mayer) - I really want to put this higher, but I put it so low because it's an instrumental interlude. If this was the version off The OF Tape, Vol. 2 with John Mayer's guitar playing, it honestly might just be my personal #1. Regardless, still a beautiful track. |
12 | | Frank Ocean channel ORANGE
Sierra Leone - Love it and it's probably a precursor to Blonde, but on this album it just kinda feels out of place and doesn't have enough going on. |
11 | | Frank Ocean channel ORANGE
Crack Rock - I hated this song for the longest time but it really grew on me, mostly because of how fun the drums are on it. I also love the way it just ends and Pyramids begins. |
10 | | Frank Ocean channel ORANGE
Monks - This track goes so fucking hard. Also another one I initially disliked. |
9 | | Frank Ocean channel ORANGE
Super Rich Kids (feat. Earl Sweatshirt) - Probably the closest thing this album has to a banger. Every time I feel like this song might be getting old, Frank's vocal performance and Earl's verse pull me back in. |
8 | | Frank Ocean channel ORANGE
Sweet Life - I would die 4 Frank's performance on this track. |
7 | | Frank Ocean channel ORANGE
Thinkin Bout You - Okay, yes, this song is overplayed at this point, I get it. But it was the song that got me into Frank. And every time I remember Frank's performance of this on SNL, I'm reminded of how important this song is to the album and just how fucking powerful it is. |
6 | | Frank Ocean channel ORANGE
Lost - Honestly, the top 6 are probably interchangeable, and I'd love to put this higher but every song above is just so perfect. Might be the catchiest song on the album, even though I thought it was kinda dull the first few listens I had of cO. |
5 | | Frank Ocean channel ORANGE
Bad Religion - I wanted to hate this song so much just because I always saw memes about how "sad" this song was. For whatever reason, I used to think it was actually about religion. Definitely one of the most important tracks on this album and one of the few where Frank references his attraction to men. The strings fucking murder me, man. My only gripe is that it's really damn short. |

Pink Matter (feat. Andre 3000) - I might've listened to this song the most out of any on this album. I hate when people say this is a song about vagina, because YEAH it is a song about pussy, but it's not as vapid as that sounds. God, this fucking song just puts me in a pussy trance. Also, Andre's flow...ohhhh looooorddd. I listened to cO non-stop around Christmastime, so this song kind of reminds me of that season. There's also a cool remix with a Big Boi verse that you should check out if you fuck with Outkast too. |

Pyramids - What the fuck even is this track. Goddamn. I feel like everything that can be praised about this track has already been praised. I don't understand how an artist can go from the simple (but good) R&B tracks on Nostalgia, Ultra. to this in the span of a year. Like, holy fucking shit man. Frank is a god. |

Pilot Jones - This is totally personal. Something about this song, man. The falsetto. The lyrics. It's such a sad subject matter, but Frank's falsetto soothes it a little. I used to think it was so boring, but damn Frank really wants to help this person he's singing about, but they don't want to put in effort to help themselves. There's something so awful about that. |

Forrest Gump - Probably the ONLY love song by Frank that isn't purely sad. It's really fucking happy. Like, you can audibly hear Frank's smile as he sings this song. And that doesn't mean it isn't poignant, it certainly is. But when he sings, "I won't forget you," it's not with tears of sadness, but tears of joy. Like, holy fuck this may be my favorite Frank song all around. |
