06.17.17 | Still not a fan of the vocals and the songwriting does leave a lot to be desired, but will I be damned if the instrumentation and its overall sound didn't improve exponentially. A lot of the tangly guitarwork, the chemistry between the instruments (if you can call it that) and the sharp drum mixing make up for the song's mistakes. It's definitely intriguing with its somewhat trippy and subtly psychedelic nature. If this is how the full EP sounds, then I'm looking forward to it. |

It just trims the fat and focus a bit more on vocal melodies I suppose. Could I ask you what about the songwriting you don't like? just curious |

I guess the melody, the vague chorus and the production in combo with the said weak vocals just did not grip me all that much. But like I said, the somewhat oddball instrumentation and the peculiar interludes really kept me intrigued. |
