zaruyache 06.30.17	Prob gonna hit it up tomorrow. Original trailer looked so painfully bad I'm glad to see it's somehow supposed to be good.
Crymsonblaze 06.30.17	I wasn't a big fan of the original trailer either... It was a tough sell, I think. Hard to capture the tone of that movie in a trailer. If you like Edgar Wright's other movies, I'd say it's a pretty safe bet you'll like this one. If not, I'd still give it a shot, because the style and humor are different enough to be distinct... although you can totally tell it's Wright, through and through.

zaruyache 06.30.17	Oh I didn't know the Hot Fuzz guy directed this. The awkwardness kinda makes sense now. Originally it looked like some stupid romantic car chase junk oriented toward teenage girls so I was pretty skeptical.

That script is so air-tight, it's amazing.' fuck yeah dude. scott pilgrim is just a little looser but I enjoy it more overall, both incredible movies which is why a movie that's got a pretty good script, like Baby Driver, still feels a little loose compared to most of Wright's other movies even though it's really great

I mean Shaun is great and all, but I think Fuzz is a funnier and more rewarding watch on further viewings. The only edge I'll give Shaun is that it pulls off the serious stuff towards the end surprisingly brilliantly. Well I mean it WAS surprising back before Wright's other movies existed
