Band Tolerance

Why are you not interested in checking out that new album by the band you previously liked? This may be because each artist has a saturation point. Even good bands can lose their appeal after you've heard x amount of their work. This list explores some of those bands.
1Opeth
Still Life

I was a big fan of this band through Still Life. I know they released great albums afterwards, but I only dabble with those. The first 4 are still all I need.
2Fugazi
Red Medicine

13 songs, red medicine, the argument. All great albums, but I rarely feel like exploring the Fugazi catalog beyond them.
3Norah Jones
Little Broken Hearts

The fall and especially little broken hearts are really good albums, but are her others? Can't seem to care.
4Death
Scream Bloody Gore

I like everything I've heard from them so why won't I listen to spiritual healing and individual thought patterns?
5Fela Kuti
Gentleman

Gentleman, Roforofo fight, and zombie are all classic. Not much desire to listen to anything else I guess.
6David Bowie
Low

How much Bowie does one person need? For yours truly the saturation point is 8 great albums.
7The Shins
Chutes Too Narrow

I dug albums 2 and 3. Are the other ones worth while? Couldn't care less.
8Kreator
Endless Pain

I would gargle testicles for a new Carnivore release but can't be bothered for any new Kreator even though they've been hot lately.
9Death Cab for Cutie
Transatlanticism

Trans and Plans are both solid records, but don't even talk to me about their other releases (even if they're good).
10Wilco
A Ghost is Born

Are you a Wilco album post A Ghost is Born? Screw off.
11Ben Folds
Songs for Silverman

Good first couple of solo albums. No need for more though.
12Sade
Soldier Of Love

By all accounts not her best album, but it is all I need.
13Kanye West
Graduation

After twisted fantasy, who cares?
14G. Love and Special Sauce
Philadelphonic

Tbh all I really know is their dope track I-76. Someday maybe I'll try another song.
15Deftones
(Like) Linus

For a long time I was happy with just wrist and pony. Eventually I grabbed koi which is also great, but it'll be a cold day in hell before I bust out those other albums.
16D.R.I.
Dealing with It!

Classic debut album. Don't need the rest since I doubt they topped it.
