Ive never sexually assaulted anyone, but ive looked back and found that i probably didnt handle some situations like i should have. Made me rethink the way i treat and think about women. So i think its done a lot of good beyond just making women more comfortable with coming out about these things.
Aerisavion 01.25.18	The issue is lack of evidence, aside from personal testimony. We should be able to trust those who admit to something like this, but the fact is people lie about shit all the time, and it either adds more fuel to the fire, or fucks up any credibility the real victims may have. Remember Breana Harmon Talbot? She lied about being a rape/assault victim, but because her allegations were recent and they were able to figure it out she was bullshitting by piecing things together. Now what the fuck does a 60 year old has-been actor/singer/whatever do when someone (who may be either genuine, or false) claims 20 years ago they touched them? Fuck all. Because they can't. They either deny it, and be called a liar, or apologise for something that may have been potentially deemed inappropriate (which they obviously won't remember by this point), in which case be called a coward. It's a broken system, and people are going to abuse the shit out of it and make things all the more harder for the REAL victims because that's just what people unfortunately do.
