04.18.18 | The Packers better not draft another corner ... dude from Florida State is the rumor. |
pjquinones747
04.18.18 | Yeah A-Rod needs some first round graded talent in that receiving corps. |
BallsToTheWall
04.18.18 | Panthers need a god damn safety although their secondary in general got raped pretty hard last year. |
pjquinones747
04.18.18 | Might have to trade up if they want anyone who would have an immediate impact! |
BallsToTheWall
04.18.18 | I agree. Don't see why they don't pick up Boston, Vaccaro or Reid, their only S right now is like 37. The fuck!!! |
pjquinones747
04.18.18 | Yeah all three of those guys are solid! Reid's in on the whole kneeling controversy though so even though he's a starting level talent he won't get picked up until he agrees not to kneel. |
BlazinBlitzer
04.18.18 | There's not too much wrong here actually... |
pjquinones747
04.18.18 | I'm glad you agree! I do think there will be some shuffling in the top half. Arizona, Buffalo, and New England are all jockeying for top 5 spots in hopes to grab one of those top 4 quarterback prospects. Past experience tells me Buffalo will be the one most likely to give up anything it takes to get ahead for one of their top prospects like Rosen or Allen.
As a Cardinals fan, I'm hoping we stay at 15 to grab Lamar Jackson and pray Christian Kirk, DJ Chark, DJ Moore, or Courtland Sutton fall to our spot in the 2nd round. We have 2 third rounders so I could see us trading up in the 2nd for one of those guys or a highly ranked guard like Wynn or Hernandez if they're around. |
AlexKzillion
04.19.18 | No way Rosen falls out of the top 10
Or actually with no trades I guess maybe..., but even then I don't see Baker being picked before him as much as I like Baker |
Hawks
04.19.18 | I'm hoping that Rashaan Evans falls to the Steelers so hard. |

04.19.18 | I'm a Penn State homer, I think the Browns would be idiots not to take Barkley #1. There's so much depth at QB this year, they'll land a quality QB at 4, Barkley is a guy though that'll have a direct impact for the browns this year, sell jerseys, an ideal face for a franchise and most importantly will win them games. After going 0-16 I think they owe their fans to take the best guy in the draft and a guy who will have more of an impact for thier team and culture day 1 then any QB will. Going 0-16, take the guy who can play right outnof the gate and be magnetic, and give Tyrod time to throw the ball and they'll be dangerous. |
AlexKzillion
04.19.18 | I think there's a better chance of Barkley falling to 4 than whatever quarterback is at the top of the team's board though. The Giants might take Barkley, but I think there's a better chance of them either taking Chubb/a QB/trading down.
Hell I can see him falling all the way down to 6 actually. |
GUNGFUHAMMERFIST
04.19.18 | whoa, u think rosen drops that far? heard the j-e-t-s want him |
GUNGFUHAMMERFIST
04.19.18 | bungles need a qb. dalton's not the answer. major shrinkage in the big games. |
AlexKzillion
04.19.18 | These mocks that have the Browns taking two quarterbacks in the first round tho 💯💯💯💯💯 |
pjquinones747
04.19.18 | Barkley won't make it past the Giants. Giants might go Chubb if Cleveland does go Barkley at #1, but Darnold would be the first off the board at pick #3. For some reason I can't see the Giants going QB that high with so many signed and sealed studs at other positions of need. This scenario would leave Mayfield, Rosen, Jackson, and Allen available for Cleveland at #4. Put any of those four with Barkley and your offense looks absolutely nuts with Landry, Coleman, and Gordon at receiver. I just think the front office is pushing hard for a QB at #1 to satiate a starving fanbase with more hope...
The poor part is that I have big Browns-fan friends and they're all screaming "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP WASTING PICKS ON QUARTERBACKS AND BUILD A REAL TEAM!"
I do think Dorsey will be able to pull them from the depths, however. |

My point exactly. Picking a QB at #1 is no guarantee that guy will be a franchise QB. Tyrod is a capable QB in the short term, and whatever QB they draft may not even see the field this year. With so much depth and talent at QB I think they have to go with Barkley. With the addition of Landry along Coleman and Gordon what they really need is an explosive back and their offense will be scary. I just think any of the current draft QBs have a random of shot at being elite, I think Barkley 100% will be a stud in the NFL, you don't pass on a guy like that, especially after an 0-16 season when all fans want is to win now and he will bring that more than any rookie QB sitting behind Tyrod will. |
pjquinones747
04.19.18 | I totally agree. They can fly the ship with Tyrod in front and Barkley in the backfield. I just don't think Browns brass will be happy without a long-term solution. What I REALLY wanna see is Barkley at #1 and Chubb at #4... Myles Garrett and Bradley Chubb? You kidding me?
If my Cardinals trade up to #4 to grab Allen or Rosen I won't complain at all though. They'll need that #4 pick in order to get any of those guys because Denver might grab one at #5 and the Bills are trading up to #6 if Rosen falls. |
JWT155
04.19.18 | Exactly. If there was one QB who was going to be the next Elway, Favre, Brady, then sure take that guy, but there's like 4-6 QBs all in the running and the jury is still out on who's the best. Take Barkley and settle for your top QB on the board at 4. |
pjquinones747
04.19.18 | This is why I want the Cardinals to get LJ! He's gonna be like a Michael Vick minus the same character concerns! They have incredible QB teachers to get his accuracy in check and the best security blankets in the league in Larry Fitzgerald and David Johnson. GET. THAT. MAN. ON. MY. TEAM. |
pjquinones747
04.23.18 | Happy Monday my dudes i'm bumping this cuz word is dead |

04.25.18 | tmrw my dudes, good things |

04.25.18 | If reports are correct, I'm wrong right off the bat. Cleveland appears to want Allen or Mayfield at #1. |
dctarga
04.25.18 | Yeah I'm not feeling Darnold at all, I don't get the hype with him. |
pjquinones747
04.25.18 | I've just been neurotically worried that Arizona is gonna miss out on their QBOTF yet again.
And they probably will. |
AlexKzillion
04.25.18 | I'm seeing mocks where 5 Qbs are selected in the top 15-20
And then I'm seeing mocks that have Jackson sliding to the Steelers and Allen falling completely out of the first round
The draft seriously can't come soon enough |
pjquinones747
04.25.18 | I think we'll get at least 5 QBs in round 1...very likely that we could end up with 6 in round 1. |
Sowing
04.25.18 | If CLE was smart (they aren't), they'd taker Barkley #1 and still be left with a choice of top-tier QB's at #4. With that said, here's how I have it unraveling, barring trades that will of course happen:
1 CLE - Josh Allen, QB
2 NYG - Saquon Barkley, RB
3 NYJ - Baker Mayfield, QB
4 CLE - Bradley Chubb, DE
5 DEN - Josh Rosen, QB
6 IND - Quenton Nelson, G
7 TB - Derwin James, S
8 CHI - Denzel Ward, CB
9 SF - Tremaine Edmunds, LB
10 OAK - Roquan Smith, LB
11 MIA - Sam Darnold, QB
12 BUF - Lamar Jackson, QB
13 WAS - Vita Vea, DT
14 GB - Minkah Fitzpatrick, CB
15 ARI - Calvin Ridley, WR
16 BAL - Marcus Davenport, LB/Edge
17 SD - Mike McGlinchey, T
18 SEA - Josh Jackson, CB
19 DAL - Mike Hughes. CB
20 DET - Taven Bryan, DT
21 CIN - Will Hernandez, G
22 BUF - DJ Moore, WR
23 NE - Justin Reid, S
24 CAR - Jaire Alexander, CB
25 TEN - Harold Landry, DE/Edge
26 ATL - Da'Ron Payne, DT
27 NO - Hayden Hurst, TE
28 PIT - Rashaan Evans, LB
29 JAX - Christian Kirk, WR
30 MIN - Isaiah Wynn, G
31 NE - Leighton Vander Esch, LB
32 PHI - Derrius Guice, RB |
pjquinones747
04.25.18 | I pray to christ that the Bidwills loosen the fuck up and let Keim deal some picks to trade into the top 10 so we can snag LJ or Rosen. I'm fairly certain Allen, Mayfield, and Darnold will be gone by 5. And Sowing honestly I'd rather trade back and grab Kirk, Hernandez, Mike Hughes, Josh Jackson, or maybe even grab Mason Rudolph (if we trade back to, say, #31) than get Ridley. Not as sold on him as I am with Moore, Kirk, Sutton, or even a guy like Chark. |
Sowing
04.25.18 | All the most recent inside talk from the Browns organization has said they are taking either Baker Mayfield or Josh Allen at 1. Could be a smokescreen, but whatever. I agree that 3 QBs could be gone in the top 5, but I think it will involve a trade up from a QB needy team. |
AlexKzillion
04.25.18 | Really hoping the Steelers take either Rashaan Evans or Vander Esch... they are too close to a title to use their first rounder on a qb who isn't gonna start for two years. |
pjquinones747
04.25.18 | Steelers need secondary help a bit more don't they? |
AlexKzillion
04.25.18 | They could use it yeah. They signed Morgan Burnett to play strong safety and are moving Sean Davis (their strong safety the last couple years) to free safety. Both Davis and cb Artie Burns have been serviceable but haven't really panned out just yet. Joe Haden made a big difference last year though, and Mike Hilton was a stud at nickel corner... so idk if the secondary is first round urgent.
A replacement for Shazier is by far their biggest need though, and Vander Esch is pretty similar to Shazier from what I can tell. |
pjquinones747
04.26.18 | That makes sense. I think LVE seems to fit the Steeler mold on defense. |

04.26.18 | Everyone delete their Sputnik posts in case their future NFL career is in jeopardy. |
JWT155
04.26.18 | Seriously though, judging a player off tweets they made when they were 15 is so asinine. |
AlexKzillion
04.26.18 | I feel like it kinda shows that the coaches/gms/scouts/the media etc. don't really understand this new generation of players who quite literally grew up on social media. |
pjquinones747
04.26.18 | I'm so glued to the LJ train that I'm praying Allen doesn't fall to #15 because I want LJ instead lmao |
