How long has this been? Honestly I can't wait for season 2 for this. |

OK now we got to the final. The theme is...... None.
This is more to be a test on how much you understand my music taste.
Just give me 3 ALBUMS and the winner is the one who gets the highest rating of one album. So it doesn't matter if you rec a 1.0 worthy album but you got a 5 rating on one album, you've officially won this rec comp. You can take a look at my 5's or my current trend in last.fm. Doesn't matter, just find the abecore worthy album. |

FIRST INSTALLMENT
Abecore Level: Quite
This album runs too short of a mere length of 24 minutes. I like how this has the elements of math, dream pop, gaze, and post rock at the same time. This album is gorgeous, especially in the 3rd track. Easy 5/5 track for me. The rest the album is kinda circling around. At the end of the listening, I'm like, "That's it?" Nice rec.

Abecore Level: Dream pop is within my realm.
The dreamy aspects of this album certainly works really well with me. Just a pleasant album overall. I'll give this some more room to grow
3.8 (not final)
EDIT: This is progressively getting better and better. The theme, the vocal, the lyrics, etc, all of these just suddenly click on me. There is just something so delicate about this, something amazing, something something abecore. It's such an amazing listen from the start to finish. We might even find a winner already.
4.7 (there is still more room to grow though)

Abecore Level: Not quite right
I like math. But I like a beautiful math. This isn't a beauty tho, it's more to be chaotic and abrasive. The quirkiness in this album isn't something that I'm looking forward to listen to.

Abecore Level: Aaron simply understands
I've heard Tricot before defintiely. Although it's kinda cheating to rec me stuffs that I already know, but whatever really. This record has the typical Abecore vocal taste and the unparalleled energy of a girl band. It's high when it's high without any mediocre output. This is an EP though; I'll let it a pass since sounds' rec is also 24 minutes. That kinda takes few points away

SECOND INSTALLMENT
Abecore Level: Hit or miss?
Blackgaze/Post-Black metal is my favorite subgenre of metal. Aaron knows that. This one, though, doesn't hit me hard the first couple listen. Will it eventually click? We must know.
3.7 (not final)
EDIT: Yeah, this ain't that captivating. Just a solid listen through and through.

Abecore Level: I'm not even sure.
This album is a definition of Insanity. Insanity at its best. The meaning behind these songs are "who-the-fuck-knows". Seriously though, I kinda missing the point of this album at all. All I've heard is just some abstract shits playing. But these abstract shits are so fucking good. Now please let me digest this album or a bit.
4.2 (not final)
EDIT: This record is still crazy as fuck, I'm content with this score.

SECOND INSTALLMENT
Abecore Level: Not really my thing
I like fun. I've heard a lot of mindless cutesy Japanese stuffs. This thing is also fun. But there is something that just doesn't click with me. For this one, I just don't like this somewhat vocal-centric album. This album is undeniably fun tho, but revisiting this album might seem like a chore aside of the awesome hits like "Pick Me Up" and some. I'll give this some other chances in the future.
3.3 (not final)
EDIT: I still feel the same way on the first time listening to this. Although I need to give credit to the highlights that's being high-energetically catchy.
