I loved the slightly electronic arrangement and sweet atmospheric playful song-writing. Like seriously loved it. I do think that the song more or less delves into some unnecessairly long detours, but overall it's all a killer. 4.5

Ma'am, after 5 minutes of this, we definitely know. 3.2/5 Amesoeurs - "Amesoeurs": I wish it would've gone harsher on the bridge with the fuzzed-out guitar, but a tease is okay, too. I guess the problem is that there's nothing for me to talk about in a good or bad way. There are some pretty parts, though, so it's at least above average. 3.5/5

Soldier was good, I'm a sucker for neo-soul, but this is admittedly not my favourite Badu song, I've liked what other things I've heard from her before... 3/5 Sky Took Hold, I quite like the tune, I think I might like it better in the conext of an album, some of the vocal sections tested my patience a bit, but not bad at all. 3.3/5 Amesoeurs has a sweet sound, but is a little repetitive. The vox are quite blissful, but I was craving a transition, which came at 2:45 and ended 20 seconds later to go back into that twinkly guitar line... Frustrating to say the least, but I enjoyed the mildly mesmerizing vibe - 2.9/5
