A Year in the Life of Neek: 2017-18
This last (school) year sucked for a lot of reasons. My girlfriend of two years broke up with me, I spent half a year working through it with her, my mom and step-dad (who I'm really close with) decided to divorce, which was finalized today, I found a great girl and started a relationship with her that crumbled almost instantly, and a myriad of other things happened. It was also amazing. I flourished artistically as a filmmaker and found myself way farther than I ever expected to be career wise. Sort of in a way to cement these songs and what they did for me, I decided to list them here and detail a bit of what they did to deserve their spot. These were the songs that got me through my year. These are the absolute choice cuts that followed my journey, and in a way defined it. |
