| My Most Disappointing Albums
Here is a list of the albums that disappointed me the most. | 1 | | Eminem Encore
What the hell Eminem? In the beginning, he was a controversial rapper with vulgar lyrics and immense beats. The year is 2005; Eminem releases a hunk of crap album called Encore. Now, this is one of those times that the audience does not want an encore and just wants you to get the hell off the stage unless you return with the original s**t. Instead, Slim thought he could fit in with the rest of the crowd and create an album with so much hype that it was deeply disappointing once released. Songs like ?Big Weenie,? ?A** Like That,? and ?Just Lose It,? this album automatically gets tossed in the garbage. What happened to the real Slim Shady? | 2 | | Judas Priest Turbo
Judas Priest is one of my favorite metal bands. But their album ?Turbo? is one of their most disappointing albums. This happens to a lot of bands: after a great line of albums, they release an album that just makes people sick. ?Turbo? is like a punch in the face that hurts like a mother**ker. Then, you get a bruise that swells up and covers your entire face. Now, nobody wants to look at you, talk to you, or listen to you try to talk. Rob?s lyrics have always been obvious and easy. But he outdoes it in ?Turbo.? ?Turbo Lover? is a good example of this: ?I?m your turbo lover; tell me there?s no other. I?m your turbo lover; better run for cover.? Every song sounds like a generic Power Rangers soundtrack song. Highly disappointing? | 3 | | Led Zeppelin In Through the Out Door
I can't bare this album. After the first track, this album sinks deeper and deeper into the "fail" category. And yes, I did use the word "fail" in a sentence. Zeppelin is an amazing band, but this album in no exception. With horrid tracks like "Hot Dog" and "Carouselambra," I tossed this album faster than a free AOL disc. Sorry Zeppelin, I cannot stand this album. I'm sticking with the Classic Zeppelin albums. | 4 | | Korn See You on the Other Side
Korn used to be my favorite band... until Head left the gang. Everything went downhill after Korn's 2005 release "See You on the Other Side." Expecting a great Christmas gift, I asked for this album from Santa and got my wish granted Christmas morning. I popped it in my computer and waited one minute for the first song to begin. I was not surprised to hear their first single as their first track: "Twisted Transistor." I skipped it because I heard it too many times on the radio. I listen to all the other songs on the album I was quite impressed with Korn's new sound. But after several listens the album got very boring. The songs have the same guitar, drum, and bass sound. Each has its own original rhythm but the sound was getting a little annoying after a while and then it got even more annoying. Now, I don't like this album very much at all. With the exception of "Liar" and "Souvenir," this album isn't what I expected. | 5 | | Black Sabbath Never Say Die!
The lead singer of Black Sabbath left the band after their 1976 release ?Never Say Die!? Now, I thought he could?ve at least left the band with a more epic album rather than another disappointing Technical Ecstasy. With exception of the song ?Johnny Blade,? the rest of this album falls under the ?boring and repetitive? category. ?Johnny Blade? being the only song with some quite original sound, ?Never Say Die!? features some pretty unoriginal, bland songs like ?Shock Wave? and ?Air Dance.? Tony Iommi still has his incredible guitar-playing skills with some good solos here and there. But ?Never Say Die!? fails to showcase his shredding beauty. After Ozzy left Sabbath, Dio came in and showed that Sabbath can still rock your goddamn socks off. But once Dio left, no other singer could imitate Ozzy or Dio?s singing or songwriting abilities. Ozzy could?ve at least left the band in style rather than disappoint fans in addition to his extended absence. But instead, ?Never Say Die!? lies at the bottom of the pit with the rest of my throwaways. | |

10.13.08 | Turbo is a fun album! :D
Turbo Lover, Private Property, Parental Guidence, LOCKED IN! and out in the cold are all great fun songs, sure its probably one of the lower priest albums, however i would say the ripper owens era are way worse than this. take it for what it is, and experimental middle of the 80's cheese fest. good party album.
The bonus song All fired up is great too! | MrHell
