| Extol ranked
Some pointers on how to learn to know and appreciate Extol's discog as I see it. My ranking doesn't read that way, but if you're new to Extol, 3 might be your best entry to their work. The two EP's aren't necessarily my least favorite Extol, just giving priority to the full-lengths here. | 1 | | Extol Synergy
Groundbreaking avant thrash record. Elusive, innovative, attractive, all in being undeniably thrash. Many may disagree, but I think this is their most seminal effort. | 2 | | Extol Undeceived
Essential prog black/death metal album with lots of twists. Would have been a classic already if people didn't keep running away from the 'Christian' tag. Which is pointless and silly. | 3 | | Extol Extol
Wonderful tight blend of everything they've done before (mostly Undeceived, then Blueprint Dives, Burial, Synergy), resulting in a crushing package bigger than the sum of its parts. Progressive, beautiful yet very heavy, with added Yes-like vocal harmonies. | 4 | | Extol Burial
Best unblack metal debut ever, for sure. (Lol @ unblack) | 5 | | Extol The Blueprint Dives
Extol loses Ole Borud, goes Deftones but remains as elusive, challenging and progressive as ever. My least favorite of theirs, but hey who am I? | 6 | | Extol Mesmerized
EP bridging Burial and Undeceived. 3 stunning tracks in their own right, plus 3 awkwardly superfluous ambient/electro Burial remixes | 7 | | Extol Paralysis
If you've got the extended edition of Undeceived, you still need to listen to this EP for Your Beauty Divine alone. | |

11.21.18 | Ranking is random & subjective, really. Each of their albums is rather unique. | Source
11.21.18 | They never make the same album twice that's for sure | Source
11.21.18 | You should add their two ep's. They both rule except for the remixed songs on their first ep | botb
11.21.18 | Peep Mesmerized if you haven’t it has imo their best track | Source
11.22.18 | Storms of disillusions? | Dewinged
11.22.18 | Sweet ranking man, I skimmed through most of these when preparing for reviewing Azusa but I need to sit down and give them a proper jam. | Source

Will add Mesmerized and Paralysis. Storms Of Disillusions is one of the tracks most blatantly ripped off by The Faceless.
And there's 2 tracks off Paralysis I still haven't heard, gotta get working. | BigPleb
11.22.18 | Blueprint is so underrated.
Band never released a bad album imo. | DePlazz
11.22.18 | I've added the EP's. As stated in the header, these aren't necessarily my least favorite Extol, just giving priority to the full-lengths here. | TheNotrap
