One of greatest bands of the alternative, the guys that bring grunge to mainstream (indirectly), and, of course, better than Pixies, Sonic Youth.

Someone calls it a EP, but the band tell that this is the debut. I'll follow what they say. Not a good album, weirds musics, but not really catchies.

A maturing of Sonic Youth, but remains for a specific niche.

Experimental Jet Set, Trash, and No Star
Before a more pop phase, this come up. Its a good album, but not commercial, with some good songs.

I really don't like this album, but I know its importance.

Another album that I don't like so much, but is better than the other one, and have some good songs.

An overrated album in my opinion, but also greatest.

And this is the underrated. My favorite album of SY, all of the songs are greatest, one of the best of the band.

Washing Machine
A semi legendary album, with good musics, and the awesome 20 minutes "The Diamond Sea".

Sonic Nurse
This album brought a lot of new things, including well-made melodies and harmonies. The last classic of SY, in my opinion (Rather Ripped for me is the a classic too, but not everyone agrees).

Classic of the 90's. most of more famous SY songs, and no, "Kool Thing" its Not the best of the album.

EVOL
It seems that after "Bad Moon Rising" Thurston Moore started producing high quality music, with its common and good noise, which slowly began to arrive at the mainstream.

The first classic that SY bring to us. All the music are greatest, a god album, with great compositions.
