samwise2000: Buck-Tick: One Album, One Song

samwise2000 04.20.19	Had a really tough time choosing my favourite track from each, and im sure this list is subject to change in the future. Was a really close call for most of these picks!
CalculatingInfinity 04.20.19	These are some fine picks, and yeah this is way easier than a top 25. Mine would go: Moonlight, Illusion, Physical Neurose, Feast of Demoralization, Misty Blue, Sakura, Yuuwaku, Hosoi Sen, Candy, Lizard, Megumi, Brilliant, Black Cherry, Kourin, Rendezvous, Serenade, Sakuran Baby, Yume Miru Uchuu, Mudai, Cuba Libre, Tainai Kaiki.
samwise2000 04.20.19	Glad to see you like Yuuwaku as much as I do! I had the toughest time picking my favourites from the 90s era, since each album is filled to the brim with tracks which I consider classics.
samwise2000 04.20.19	Also, have you checked out the 2014 remix of Aku no Hana? Definitely improves that album a ton. Even weak tracks like Pleasure Land are improved upon greatly
JohnnyoftheWell 04.20.19	From the four I know, the only one I agree on is Yuuwaku (Angelfish is great too, but Seaside Story is one of the weaker tracks on Atom imo) Gonna take this as a prompt to get further into B-T; time to check out Razzle Dazzle and maybe Yume
samwise2000 04.20.19	Razzle and Yume are definitely some of the groups best post-13kai work. Also, in regards to Seaside Story, I wasnt too huge of a fan of it when I first listened to the album, but on subsequent listens I really started to enjoy it. Plus, the lyrics are great, being a retelling of the the little mermaid.
CalculatingInfinity 04.20.19	Yeah, Yuuwaku is incredible (the lyrics are too). Wish they did an album full of old-timey stuff like that but it's stuck to appearing very occasionally in their discography. Makes it more special when it appears though. Surprisingly my fav tracks from each album are easy to pick. You hype for Tour No.0?
JohnnyoftheWell 04.20.19	Hmm I'm almost the opposite tbh - dug it on first listen but it wore off me since, whereas Manjusaka and Ai no Sōretsu still steal the show. Will check the lyrics though
CalculatingInfinity 04.20.19	Aku is easily my least fav BT album so no I have not checked it, not a fan. "Seaside Story is one of the weaker tracks on Atom imo" Can't wait for Tour Atom to change that entirely ;) I agree with Sam that the lyrics for Seaside are really good, lots of sass near the end.
samwise2000 04.20.19	Yes! I listened to it on spotify, but It would be nice to actually be able to watch it now. The tracklist is really great, and the performances are stellar

CalculatingInfinity 04.20.19	That song grew on me so much, was lukewarm on it for a while but now I find it enchanting in its atmosphere and vagueness.

samwise2000 04.21.19	Pretty much every track on Razzle is spectacular, glad you liked Hamushi no You ni Also, checked out that new track @calc, it was amazing. Hope they go that direction for the next album
CalculatingInfinity 04.21.19	Yeah, same. The trailer for the second song from the single looks wild, I really like that BT still has fun with what they're doing and enjoy it.
samwise2000 04.21.19	Its a sound they havent really explored yet, that sort of resembles what they did during the tour arui rendition of victims of love. Thats what I love about BT, always trying new styles while still consistently sounding like the same band.
CalculatingInfinity 04.21.19	That to me is probably the main reason they're my fav band Even after 21 albums, the material they make now can stand toe to toe with any part of their career or surpass it and have its own identity.
