11.04.08 | That is so true. Owning CD's makes me cherish them even more. I like living an age where technology is important, but I try to keep it subtle when it comes to music and movies. Also having the physical media, you get to hold the artists work in your hand and look at the artwork as you listen. Plus, if you are an audio enthusiast, owning CD's is a must when you have some sennheiser headphones or other type of high-end equipment. That is where music turns serious for me. |

11.04.08 | I've bought quite a lot of CDs this year, I know own far more than a hundred discs, but the fact is that I'm not that well-to-do, so I've recently reduced it. Some CDs still need to be owned physically, just for the artwork alone - and for the audio quality no rip can give you.
actually I'm thinking about getting a record player, because I love the big vinyl covers and the sound of them so much. |
