I'm pretty behind, but I'm going to make an effort to catch up on these. '75 was actually one of my least favorite years from this decade - seemed like a big-time transition year for music. A lot of genres were starting to feel tired and the biz seemed desperately in need of a kickstart (which it soon received). My totally subjective rating for the year as a whole is a 3/5.

Ya, from the list, i can understand how you feel about 1975. But, their is some robust LP, nonetheless.

a lot of good and great albums, but the year was lacking in stuff that was truly exceptional. for me anyway. i'm assuming prog lovers consider it one of the great years.
