tectactoe 02.18.21	Letâ€™s discuss (cold) breakfast cereals, ladies and gents. A staple of my childhood and a guilty pleasure as a now grown man. What can I say? Sugar rules.

ArsMoriendi 02.18.21	Mostly good list (especially since Cinnamon Life and Honey Bunches of Oats are high)... what that said: -Banana Nut Cheerios are too low, I adore them and I can never find them in supermarkets. I miss them :( -While I agree that Cinnamon Life is the best Life, regular Life should at least be mid-tier. It's probably the best "plain" cereal out there. -Where's Special K Red Berries? Totally different from plain Special K because the freeze dried strawberries are amazing

But most â€œbreakfast foodsâ€ are just treats disguised as actual food. See also: pancakes, waffles, french toast, instant oatmeal, muffins, bagels and cream cheese, etc. I never eat cereal for breakfast. Itâ€™s always a â€œtreatâ€ for me. Like, sometimes Iâ€™ll eat a bowl of cereal in lieu of a pint of ice cream lol.

Itâ€™s kinda like Honey Bunches of Oats but it has little round pieces too like Nesquik, and itâ€™s relatively low in sugar (6 grams per serving I think, most sugary cereals are 10+) and thereâ€™s a maple flavour thatâ€™s really good

tectactoe 05.28.24	Updated 28 May 2024. Quite a few changes. Truth is, I (still) rarely eat cereal as an adult. But when I do, I mostly approach it as a treat and thus crave the sugary goodness that fuels much of my childhood.

tectactoe 05.28.24	Cinnamon Life is phenomenal, quit playin'. Literally only drawback is that they get soggy fairly quickly so you have to either eat fast or pour small bowls. Oreo O's were absolutely incredible, but they did discontinue them for a long time and after much clamoring, brought them back many years later. I haven't had them since the revival but I wouldn't be surprised if they changed the recipe or some shit.
