05.19.21 | Useless feature for music streaming. You won't be able to hear a difference at 128 kbps or even less in an actual blind listening test. I'm also not aware of anyone demonstrably being able to distinguish between 16 and 24 bit. |
Colton
05.19.21 | They also pay artists more per stream than spotify |

05.19.21 | If we’re talking about 320kbps, sure. 128 is an exaggeration though. If anything the fact that iPhones require Bluetooth would be a better criticism. |
Rolling Girl
05.19.21 | Yeah I doubt I'd even be able to notice a major difference. But I've been using Apple this whole time so cool I guess. |

05.19.21 | just buy flac from bandcamp smh |

05.19.21 | I agree with ya still gonna rep qobuz and bandcamp, just nice I now have this option too |

05.19.21 | the reality is that it's mostly useless. i can see maybe using it on a desktop with a proper amp/dac and some decent cans, but for mobile listening its basically just extra data for no real functional advantage whatsoever. especially if you're using bluetooth, then it's just downright laughable. |

05.20.21 | “Apple Music is making its biggest advancement ever in sound quality,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats. “Listening to a song in Dolby Atmos is like magic. The music comes from all around you and sounds incredible. Now we are bringing this truly innovative and immersive experience to our listeners with music from their favorite artists like J Balvin, Gustavo Dudamel, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, Kacey Musgraves, The Weeknd, and so many more. Subscribers will also be able to listen to their music in the highest audio quality with Lossless Audio. Apple Music as we know it is about to change forever.”

03.13.22 | Lololololol anytime I send myself songs on my iPad I always choose like 364 bit or whatever and never choose lossless. Honestly have no idea what any of it means. |
