06.30.21 | Yeah, it's scuzzy by design. I wanted it to sound like those early Ramones records. I even had an argument with the studio guy over it, as he wanted to clean it all up a bit. Joke was on me, as I did get what i wanted, but my bass ended up getting the short end if the stick in the final mix :p
But yeah, everything you hear in the studio EPs except the sound effects is recorded live, in a single four-hour session. It was all we could afford so we made the most of it. |
