08.06.21 | Here are four reasons why:
1. Public schools are state institutions. If they start officially promoting any religious doctrine, public schools become less focused on education.
2. There is no “general” spoken prayer that can reconcile every religion that students practice.
3. Students and their families have a right to practice their religions privately, which would be violated if required in the classroom.
4. A culture of prayer, especially in today’s myriad of social media echo chambers, would cause students who abstain from prayer to be either bullied or socially excluded.
In order to change my view, I require an argument that would refute all 4 of my reasons.
Of course, I must acknowledge that no one can stop students from praying inside their minds, which would be a perfectly harmless exercise and also a reasonable alternative. A constitutional amendment would ensure that open prayer in public school classrooms would be permanently excluded. | Prancer
08.06.21 | Anyways, um... I bought a whole bunch of shungite rocks, do you know what shungite is? Anybody know what shungite is? No, not Suge Knight, I think he's locked up in prison. I'm talkin' shungite. Anyways, it's a two billion year-old like, rock stone that protects against frequencies and unwanted frequencies that may be traveling in the air. That's my story, I bought a whole bunch of stuff. Put 'em around the la casa. Little pyramids, stuff like that.
