12.14.21 | Sodom - S.O.D.O.M.
Sodom - Sodomized
Sodom - Sodomy and Lust
Sodom - Sodom and Gomorrah (Sodom also confusingly has a song named just "Gomorrah")
None are on the Sodom album actually named Sodom. Tom must really like the name (and act of) sodom(y). I feel like I had a stroke just typing all this up. |

12.15.21 | I believe "Houses of the Holy" was originally written during the Houses of the Holy sessions, but it didn't make the cut
-PJ Harvey - "Dry" (on Rid of Me)
-The Smashing Pumpkins - "Siamese Dream" (is a b-side of "Disarm")
-Tom Waits - "Frank's Wild Years" (on Swordfishtrombones)
-Beck - "One Foot in the Grave" (on Stereopathetic Soulmanure) |

12.15.21 | prolly doesnt count cuz 'starless and bible black' has a self titled insturmental track, buuuut 'starless' off red was written during those sessions. [shoutout to eroge freaks]
also 'doesn't count' but defeated sanitys 'prelude to tragedy' is rerecorded onto psalms[and similary faith no mores 'we care a lot' onto introduce yourself] |

12.15.21 | I Googled it, and you are correct, Ars. The song was not included on Houses of the Holy because the band believed that it did not fit in with the rest of the material on the album, so it wound up being saved for Physical Graffiti instead.
In which case, I will note the Doors' "Waiting for the Sun," which appeared on Morrison Hotel. |
