matt's performance on erised is phenomenal, the atmosphere on that track is one of the earliest examples of their cleaner sheen, and the petrucci guest solo goes so hard. no hard feelings you don't feel the same but I don't think it's that controversial a highlight
in general I tend to gravitate towards mark's riffs and I'm broadly more appreciative of Spencer's clean vocals than his harshes simply because I'm a singer and can actually like, sing along to the clean sections. I can't do harsh vox to save my life. more replay value = more familiarity = more positive feelings
