Johann Sebastian Bach - Christe Eleison: there is something inviting about this piece! it has that quality of things that are not unattractive yet so so so superficially unsexual, whereby it multiplies any frustrations projected in its direction without diffusing any of them? that violin in particular is a subtle flirt if you want it to be. i was going to 1 this on the principle of reccing Bach for this theme being wafer-thin bait and unnecessarily sexualising Bach being absolutely prime nerd shit to begin with, but i'll settle for a 2.0 here 9. Pheromone 06.01.23	The gist of this idea is based on an app called Music League whereby you set up a league and ppl join it and then each week (or however you want to do it) you get a theme (which you / we can decide) and everyone anonymously submits a song which fits within the theme - once everyone in the league has submitted, everyone listens (and comments on) to eachothers songs (it makes a playlist) and you have ten points to assign to the songs however you please. Then, once everyone has voted, you can see who submitted each song, the comments for the songs, and the points assigned to each song. It doesn't really fix some of the concerns of SOTD (in that we all have differing tastes) but it's a fun lil app. Plus I suck at daily listening on SOTD for some reason but I've found doing this app with some of my irl friends super easy to do. Biggest issue with this idea: you need Spotify to submit a song (or at least the spotify link)
