Yeah but that's balanced out by him being buddies with Nicolas Maduro. Also, I love the way he shames bands for touring in Israel but he's got no issue raking in those dollars on his US tour. |

Politics aside : pink floyd has been a favorite of mine since I was like 4, but the older I get the more I question waters taking credit for literally everything they did in the 70s. The industry at that time was filled with dodgy practices and credits/royalties are debated to this day. Listen to the wall demo which is like 17 mins, they managed to stretch that into 70+ and I doubt waters independently arranged most of it into proper songs. Gilmore also played most of the bass lines on floyd albums. The drop in quality from wall to pros and cons of hitchhiking is also remarkable, likewise radio chaos is somehow even more dated 80s trash than momentary lapse of reason |
