07.20.23 | I think compositionally it sounds good, reminds me of Castlevania. But the synths sound really cheap (unless that’s on purpose) I think replacing some of those would do the composition more justice |

07.20.23 | yeah i quite liked this. what software you use? |

07.20.23 | Is that a compliment or an insult park? lol
@aubergine The audio file is directly recorded from when I play my guitar pro file. So it's fully midi, no actual instruments are played. I don't play guitar so I'll need some help to record it, which I want eventually. I kinda agree on the synths, they sound a bit cheesy
@Alex Thank you :) Guitar pro 6 |

07.21.23 | Oh I see, are you using a DAW like Logic or FL Studio or Reaper or something? I would try exporting the MIDI data and downloading a free soft synth like Vital or Surge XT, it’s still MIDI but it’ll sound way better than just the raw sound from guitar pro probably. They do make decent guitar sim plugins like Guitar Rig that sound more realistic (not exactly like a real guitar but much closer). |

07.21.23 | Didn't realize you could make such complex stuff in mario paint. |

07.21.23 | I like it tho |

07.21.23 | If three people from East Germany formed an indie game studio and decided to make a game halfway between Dragon Quest and Space Invaders, this would be the soundtrack. |

07.21.23 | This is fun. Looking forward to the evolution. You might enjoy garageband. |

07.21.23 | @aubergine I only tried FL studio once to remix some old Super Nintendo tunes. Other than that I have no experience with it or Logic. Would it be possible to directly translate it into these programs from guitar pro? I think it's possible to export the file as midi, but would it be as simple as just import that file into these other programs?
@Hendoi Thanks, don't get the reference tho
@CugnoBrasso I choose to take that as a compliment, haha. Since I don't know anything about these soundtracks.
@Storm Heard of it, should probably check it out. Thanks :) |

07.22.23 | If you get the MIDI data you can copy and paste it into a track in the piano roll of a DAW. Then you can select what software instrument you want that MIDI data to trigger. I use Logic but GarageBand is free if you’re on Mac, otherwise I think Reaper is free and works on Windows. |

07.22.23 | That's fucking awesome. I didn't know it was that easy. I will definitely have to check if it's possible, because I have a looot of ideas written in Guitar pro that I wanna hear what they sound like in a more realistic setting. Thanks dude! |
