Overhated albums |
1 | | Peter Sotos Buyer's Market |
2 | | Fishmans Chappie, Don't Cry |
3 | | Public Image Ltd. 9 |
4 | | I Set My Friends On Fire You Can't Spell Slaughter Without Laughter |
5 | | Lauryn Hill MTV Unplugged No. 2.0
Speechless how people don't get this one |
6 | | Alice Cooper Easy Action
Can't argue with this one. When people think of Alice Cooper their mind certainly doesn't go to his psychedelic era and what makes him so unique isn't necessarily on these records but it's nice to hear where it all started before School's Out and Welcome to my Nightmare, and shows how great of a singer he was from the start |
7 | | Eminem Revival
It'd be more fitting to say Relapse or Recovery but since there's more hate towards this than Kamikaze (one of the most irredeemable projects), I can't help but make the point no matter how bad Revival is, there's still a bunch of moments of competency |
8 | | Car Seat Headrest Making a Door Less Open
normally "over-hated" would be the last word to describe this band but it's ironic that fans of obscure underground bands like Car seat headrest don't like trying new things |
9 | | The Shaggs Philosophy of the World
when people say why this album is bad and one of the reasons is they can't play instruments, just play Half Gentlemen Half Beasts |
10 | | Van Halen Diver Down
There's no reason anything from the David Lee Roth era should be disliked, even if this is almost entirely a cover album |
11 | | Pantera Power Metal
The band may not like this one but they made some of the best glam metal albums. At least worth hearing if you want to hear the singer their fans know try glam vocals. This is the first time recording with Phil, their original singer was good but Dimebag is the star, among the greatest metal guitarists from day one |
12 | | Blood on the Dance Floor Let's Start a Riot
"the melodic talent was undeniable" -Scaruffi |
13 | | H.W.A. Livin' in a Hoe House
You'd think by the current year we as people would pass the point of normalizing sl*t shaming, this is despicable |
14 | | Owl City Ocean Eyes
You haven't lived if you never rolled up the block playing "Dental Care" on subs max volume |
15 | | Gorillaz The Fall
For an album by a mainstream band entirely made in Garageband, dissatisfaction is is only expected and understandable because the listener can't imagine having the amount of creative success and clout as this guy and making an irrational decision to upload something like this. Having said that, the lack of a high quality studio equipment doesn't diminish his songwriting ability, the hate could also stem from the fact all of his prior output is classic-tier, so I'd say to give him a break |
16 | | Sisqo Unleash the Dragon |
17 | | Kongos Lunatic
Like My Own Prison, this was an indie album re-released by a major label. To this day they aren't very well-known beyond their one hit wonder status which is probably the only reason they get any distain at all |
18 | | My Bloody Valentine This Is Your Bloody Valentine
Every review for this should be swapped with the ones for Loveless |
19 | | Lou Reed and Metallica Lulu |
20 | | Daughtry Daughtry |
21 | | Attack Attack! If Guns Are Outlawed, Can We Use Swords? |
22 | | Will Smith Big Willie Style |
23 | | Thrice Identity Crisis |
24 | | Puddle of Mudd Come Clean |
25 | | Children of Bodom Are You Dead Yet? |
26 | | Chevelle Point #1 |
27 | | CKY Carver City |
28 | | Tokyo Ghetto Pussy Disco 2001 |
29 | | Three Days Grace One-X
Maybe people associate three days grace with the violent kid at school who really shouldn't listen to them but does because this band is directly marketed at him |
30 | | 311 311 |
31 | | Bring Me the Horizon Suicide Season Cut Up! |
32 | | whitehouse Halogen |
33 | | Megadeth Risk |
34 | | Guns N' Roses Chinese Democracy |
35 | | Captain Jack The Mission |
36 | | Danzig Danzig Sings Elvis |
37 | | Lmfao Sorry For Party Rocking |
38 | | Lil Wayne I Am Not a Human Being |
39 | | Autistic Boys Money Clan Cash Sphere Penitentiary |
40 | | Hopsin Raw |
41 | | anthrax Stomp 442 |
42 | | Wang Chung Points On the Curve |
43 | | Squarepusher Just a Souvenir |

51 | | Cage (USA-NY) Depart From Me |
52 | | Paavoharju Joko sinä tulet tänne alas tai minä nousen sinne |
53 | | Milky Chance Sadnecessary |
54 | | Goreshit watashi wa baka yaro desu |
55 | | Nervous Cop Nervous Cop |
56 | | N.E.R.D. Seeing Sounds |
57 | | Chris Social Justice Whatever |
58 | | The Cranberries Wake Up and Smell the Coffee |
59 | | Zweistein Trip - Flip Out - Meditation |
60 | | Philip Glass Hydrogen Jukebox |
61 | | Boris New Album |
62 | | ASAP Rocky TESTING |
63 | | The Mars Volta Octahedron |
64 | | Bad Brains Quickness |
65 | | Six Feet Under Haunted |
66 | | Basshunter Now You're Gone-The Album |
67 | | The LOX Money, Power & Respect |
68 | | Dave Matthews Band Crash |
69 | | Seether Disclaimer |
70 | | Oliver Tree Ugly Is Beautiful |
71 | | Apator Masturbate in Praise of Black Satan |
72 | | Barenaked Ladies Stunt |
73 | | Drake Honestly, Nevermind |
74 | | Asking Alexandria Stand Up and Scream |
75 | | Aqua Aquarium |
76 | | Silverchair Freak Show |
77 | | Soulja Boy Souljaboytellem.com
The sophomore album is better tenfold, but this was his entrance to the game. Crank That doesn't make the hate reasonable |
78 | | Smash Mouth Fush Yu Mang
There isn't a whole lot you can do as a Ska band beyond playing virtually identical guitar riffs in every song and wear checkered clothing, and Smash Mouth is no different but giving praise to the songs Santeria or Bad Fish and then go trash on songs like "The Fonz" automatically disqualifies anyone of having a musical opinion |
79 | | Train Drops of Jupiter
Everyone needs to stop lying about hating Train |
80 | | Evanescence Fallen
despite not being gothic metal, the way this album executes its string sections are as accurate as it can possibly get to what I'd expect from that genre. |
81 | | Kel Valhaal New Introductory Lectures |
