Yeah, Mutter is their weakest. By a stretch, I don't understand how this album could remain so overrated for so long. Not saying it's bad, it's good, but it has a lot of fillers and its best tracks aren't stellar.
I've never heard Rosenrot. I'm ready to believe it is underrated. I just wasn't interested in Rammstein between 2005 and 2019 so I'm catching up slowly.

3. Dalai Lama (4/5) destroys 3. Sonne (3/5)
4. Keine Lust (4.5/5) destroys 4. Ich will (3.5/5)
5. Los (4/5) is on par with 5. Feuer frei! (3.5) (very overrated track)
6. Amerika (3/5) is inferior to 6. Mutter (4/5)
7. Moskau (4/5) is better than 7. Spieluhr (3.5/5)
8. Morgenstern (3.5) isn't exceptional but is still far better than 8. Zwitter (2.5/5)
9. Stein um Stein (4/5) destroys 9. Rein Raus (2.5/5)
10. Ohne Dich (4/5) destroys 10. Adios (2.5/5)

03.26.24 | Yeah. I can understand why Mutter was the most popular and best selling album because of how accessible and mainstream oriented it is.
But I'm surprised that the general opinion never shifted, that there never was some kind of "Hey, Mutter isn't as good as we thought" statement among the fans, for example around the release of Untitled.
Band's Best albums are regularly discussed "I think that one is overrated" "The new one is even better than ******" but I have never seen anybody saying that Mutter is not Rammstein's best and that it's (slightly) overrated. It's weird to me.
