04.13.24 | Ooh, fun. I'll keep this short:
The Who (Who's Next)
Solo Eric Clapton (461 Ocean Boulevard -- not counting Cream and Derek and the Dominos, both of whom I enjoy greatly)
Guns n' Roses (Appetite for Destruction)
Red Hot Chili Peppers (Blood Sugar Sex Magik)
Marilyn Manson (Mechanical Animals)
I almost included artists like Radiohead and R.E.M., both of whom have only one album I flat out love, but they both have at least a few songs on other albums I return to (and I do strongly enjoy The Bends, though not as much as OK Computer, the one Radiohead album I adore), which puts them above these five artists, from where I sit. |

04.13.24 | aaaag 90s-early 00s daft punk is classic i've never even jammed random access memories. also leonard cohens put out some gems over the years.
one hottake i'll give though : porcupine tree - fear of a black planet > the rest of their catalogue, but i do think most of their albums are good but don't work as well for me as front to back listens. |

04.16.24 | Surprised at the Daft Punk pick. They are beyond overrated but that album is prob their worst to me |

04.16.24 | Cosmo's Factory is a great album, but you dont even like Willie and The Poor Boys or Green River? probably the only take as brainboggling as the Daft Punk one. |

04.16.24 | Sex Pistols is an obvious pick, but more seriously, Hole’s “Live Through This” came to mind first.
I get Daft Punk, RAM is very different from their rest, it is a divisive record. |

06.29.24 | You’re missing out alot on only liking one Leonard Cohen album. |
