Linkin Park Full Ranking

I have listened to this discography 393 times front to back, and these are the correct rankings for it. Note that I append bonus tracks + singles and loose studio quality demos released during the same era to the end of many of these, which may or may not influence my perception of them.
37Mike Shinoda
Dropped Frames, Vol. 2

I don't hate it. It doesn't really do anything, either. Very light 3.
36Mike Shinoda
Dropped Frames, Vol. 3

I don't hate it. It doesn't really do anything, either. Very light 3.
35Joe Hahn & Alec Puro
Blade Of The 47 Ronin

Serviceable soundtrack album. Lacks many Linkin Park-isms but does its job. Some actual songs tacked on at the end that descend in quality once they begin. Light 3.
34Mike Shinoda
Dropped Frames, Vol. 1

Good enough. Has Open Door, though I maintain it's best you just grab that and tack it on another release. Light 3.
33Fort Minor
We Major (Mixtape)

Good, but stereotypical crass bravado hiphopisms really, really don't suit Mike. Light 3.
32Mike Shinoda and Joseph Trapanese
The Raid: Redemption

Good soundtrack album. Does what it needs to. Some actual songs at the end, Razors Out being outright great. Medium 3.
31Mike Shinoda
Mikeshinoda.com Exclusives

Good. Medium 3. Basically Dropped Frames, Vol. 4, except better than mostly everything on the Dropped Frames series.
30Mike Shinoda
Ziggurats

Good. Medium 3.

Including "Happy Endings", "Last One To Know", "Golden Falcon" & "Uproar" for the rating.
I personally smack this combination in front of The Crimson Chapter, and then put a volume-adjusted Open Door in front of that to pretend it's an album.
29Linkin Park
Stagelight Demos

Good. Medium 3. Personally I merge it with LPU16 after adjusting the volumes to match.
28Linkin Park
LP Underground Sixteen

Good. Medium 3.
27Linkin Park
Mall (Music From The Motion Picture)

Good. Hard 3.

A bit hard to rank due to it being a soundtrack, but if you condense it to the full fledged songs, i.e. "White Noise, It Goes Through, Devil's Drop, The Last Line, & Dancer", you get a nice casual listening EP.
26Linkin Park
Recharged

Good. Hard 3. Best tracks are obviously the ones with new bars and creative input from the band, but the standard remixes are servicable EDM.

Including "Burn It Down" (Paul van Dyk remix)" and "Darker Than Blood" for the rating.
25Linkin Park
One More Light

Good. Hard 3. Wish the instrumentals were louder and cleaner, would probably rank higher if they were. Tried my best to boost them for personal use but there's no official rips so it's imperfect + the production is messy to begin with.

Including "Cross Off", "Friendly Fire", & "What Are You Worth?" for the rating. Now it sounds like bullshit due to the tonal whiplash, but I maintain that Sharp Edges -> Cross Off -> Friendly Fire actually somehow works really well. Try it.
24Linkin Park
Xero

Good. Hard 3.

My tracklist for this is "Dialate, Reading My Eyes, Rhinestone, Esaul, Fuse, Stick N Move (Wakefield Version), Drop, Fiends, Closing". Basically the original EP + Rapology singles, with the best versions possible for each song taken off Hybrid Theory 20th Anniversary.
23Dead By Sunrise
Out of Ashes

Good. Very light 3.5.

Including "Morning After" & "System" for the rating.
22Mike Shinoda
MTV VMA Score 2005

Very Good. Light 3.5.

I personally tack on "Cry To Yourself", "Rock N Roll (Could Never Hip Hop Like This) Part 2" and "Walking Dead" to the end of it, then pretend that compilation is a second Collision Course disc. Doesn't affect my rating.
21Linkin Park
LP Underground 15

Very Good. Light 3.5.
20Linkin Park
Linkin Park Underground Eleven

Great. Medium 3.5.
19Linkin Park
LPUXIV

Great. Medium 3.5.
18Fort Minor
The Rising Tied

Great. Hard 3.5.

Including "Be Somebody", "There They Go", "The Hard Way", "Second To None", & "Welcome" for the rating.
17Mike Shinoda
The Crimson Chapter

Great. Hard 3.5.
16Linkin Park
LPU XIII

Great. Hard 3.5.
15Jay-Z and Linkin Park
Collision Course

Great. Hard 3.5.

Including "Public Service Announcement" at the front, plus "A.06", "Dedicated", "Sold My Soul To Yo Mama", "Standing In The Middle", and "A-Six" at the end. Basically merged it with early 2000s mini-LPU releases, most of which were hip-hop tinged.
14Linkin Park
Hybrid Theory EP

Great. Hard 3.5.

Including "Visionaries", "Pictureboard", "She Couldn't", "Could Have Been", "Stick N Move (Chester Version), & "Reading My Eyes (Live)" for the rating. In other words, other pre-debut era stuff, most of which came with the Hybrid Theory 20th Anniversary Edition.
13Linkin Park
Minutes to Midnight

Almost Excellent, quite scatterbrained. Very light 4.

Including "No Roads Left", "Across The Line", "Announcement Service Public", "QWERTY", "We Made It", & "New Divide" for the rating... which all notably improve it.
12Linkin Park
From Zero

My uncle works at Machine Shop Recordings and says this is where it will rank.

Yup. Medium 4.
11Mike Shinoda
Post Traumatic

Excellent. Medium 4.

Including "Prove You Wrong", 'What The Words Meant", "Fine", & "Waiting For Tomorrow" for the rating.
10Linkin Park
Underground X

Excellent. Hard 4.
9Linkin Park
Meteora (20th Anniversary Edition)

(Rating Meteora: Lost Demos Specifically)

Excellent. Hard 4.
8Linkin Park
LPU XII

Excellent. The single best collection of demos they've released. Hard 4.
7Linkin Park
A Thousand Suns

Amazing, yet scatterbrained. Light 4.5.

Including "Blackbirds", "Issho Ni", & "Not Alone" for the rating.
6Linkin Park
The Hunting Party

Amazing. Medium 4.5.
5Linkin Park
Meteora

Perfection. Light 5. Only lower than the others because it feels a bit more rigid/canned instrumentally, but it's so meticulously pieced together it doesn't matter. Final product counts.
4Linkin Park
Living Things

Perfection. Beautiful synths. Medium 5.
3Linkin Park
Reanimation

Absolute Perfection. Hard 5.

Including "It's Goin' Down", "Buy Myself", & "Points of Authority (Crystal Method Remix)" for the rating.
2Linkin Park
Hybrid Theory

Absolute Perfection. Hard 5.
Including "My December" and "High Voltage" for the rating.
1Linkin Park
