SchebbARN 01.30.09	Wow, um, I don't exactly know where to respond to this, so I guess I'll just do it here. I heard about the Rural Alberta Advantage through the Metacritic forums, and to answer Yotimi's question, they're frequently compared to Neutral Milk Hotel, mainly because of the vocals. I'd say it's great folkish indie rock with real awesome drumming. I just started this account like a couple of hours ago, so if there's some other place for me to reply to this stuff, please tell me. :)

So, I rated the albums I've listened to during the year in the order I saw fit and it happened to come out a bit similar to some publications' lists. I don't really care, it's my list, and it's my opinions of the albums. Deal with it.

SchebbARN 01.31.09	It kind of reminds me of the first time I listened to the Marnie Stern album. The same sort of annoying quality, but with This Is It... I felt like listening to it over and over despite of (or maybe because of) it. Hopefully it's the same way with this.
