10.06.09 | yeah that jay-z album was released in '96 |
JoRos
10.06.09 | Yeah I recently checked out the pitchforks P2K list and didn't agree with alot of the placements and thought I could better. They had the black album on the list and I was confused too but I went with them and put it on my list too |
klap
10.06.09 | no not black album i meant Reasonable Doubt. |
Jesuslaves
10.06.09 | tl;dr |
bastard
10.06.09 | lol some of this is really good, some of this is meh, and Graduation and Reasonable Doubt make me lol. And then theres stuff i haven't listened to on here i probably shoulda. |
thebhoy
10.06.09 | decent list. Wrong Okkervil River album though. Black Sheep Boy trumps everything else they've done... even though everything else they've done is gold.
Glad to see someone else appreciate Dragonslayer as much as me, that album rules. |
JoRos
10.06.09 | oh wow. I thought I checked em all over. I think I'll switch it with Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes by TV On The Radio |
CrisStyles
10.06.09 | uh 92 and 95 are from the 90s man lol |
coneren
10.06.09 | 15=55 |

10.06.09 | Good job tons of great stuff |
ninjuice
10.06.09 | Kanye's first two are the only ones that should even be considered. |
Prophet178
10.06.09 | Did you just reorder the Pitchfork list? |
entarthedryden
10.06.09 | no/ |
Yotimi
10.06.09 | You should check out some non-pitchfork stuff (even though a lot of it is great). And 37 higher than 78 is a joke. |
BrandNewBoognish
10.06.09 | Terrible list, for the most part. Sounds like you listen to music critics too much. At least you put Fugazi on it though. |
JoRos
10.06.09 | hey I dont what happened with the albums from the 90's. My itunes library must be screwing with me.
and for thebhoy about dragonslayer, I recently got some sunset rubdown from a friend of mine and really liked it very quickly. I think the more I listen to it the more it'll grow on me.
Also, Its not that I listen to critics alot. Its more that I find out about alot of music from critics and have a very wide musical taste. Some times I disagree with what Pitchfork says. Especially since they love Kid A by Radiohead so much which I don't agree with to be the best of the decade. Not to anger Radiohead fans though, still an amazing band. |
JoRos
10.06.09 | I'm also a big fan of animal collective and was disapointed that Pitchfork left so many great albums out. Strawberry Jam wasn't even included which could be their greatest album. |
Yotimi
10.06.09 | They limited it to 3 albums per band or that would've easily made it. |
KILL
10.06.09 | needs more metal |
ECRbubs
10.06.09 | lol, In Ghostly Colors.
pretty good though. 92 and 95 are both certainly from the 2000's |
CrisStyles
10.09.09 | number 92 used to be Ready to Die from notorious B.I.G. and 95 used to be Enchanted from Pavement but he changed it, that's why i said it. |
ECRbubs
10.14.09 | ah I see |
imnotthere420
11.03.09 | yoshimi battles the pink robots is WAY better than at war with the mystics. that wouldn't even make the list |
Inveigh
11.03.09 | There's definitely some good stuff on here, but there's only 3 or 4 moderately heavy albums on here...weak. It also needs some more underground hip-hop (other than just Can Ox).
Also, I found it weird that you rated Amnesiac higher than Kid A. Not that I think that's completely off-base (just slightly, hah), I'm just surprised. |
SeaAnemone
11.03.09 | is this THE pitchfork list in dif order? |
ZeroTolerance
11.03.09 | Not going to lie, don't like many on here. |
DiceMan
11.03.09 | Needs more Kanye West discography |
Kashmir09
11.08.09 | Love your list, good stuff |
