10.21.09 | 5, 6 and 10 are definitely on my list for this year. Have you listened to The Tropic Rot by Poison the Well? That's my favorite so far, with Never Better and Constellations not far behind. |

10.21.09 | order doesn't bug me except for AFI being above Converge. |

10.21.09 | Again, House of Heroes was released in 2008. It is however, FANTASTIC. |

10.22.09 | Love The Tropic Rot, and yeah, only the first three are really in any order. I totally thought the House of Heroes cd was this year. But there really isn't any order to this. |

04.22.10 | New Junk Aesthetic really blew me away and my only regret with this album was that it took me so long to listen to it. I received it for Christmas, but there was another album that was given to me for the holidays that required my full undivided attention. That album was Between the Buried and Me's "The Great Misdirect."
Constellations was a pleasant surprise and I was happy that I was able to look past the band's "Christian" label.
The Tropic Rot was absolutely awesome. I didn't know what to expect after I heard mix reviews for "Versions" but I absolutely loved the images Tropic Rot created in my head of run-down beach life in a quasi-post-apocalyptic scenario that would fit well with the music from Poison the Well's 2009 album. Am I looking too into this? Maybe.....
Axe to Fall is probably my favorite Converge album.... and that's not saying much. |
