Oceansize are a pretty great progressive band with an awesome sound.

Toro Y Moi and their album 'Causers of This'

Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson is a pretty great folk/indie singer songwriter (Kyp Malone approved). He's got an 09 release called Summer of Fear which is really great.
