| Music Stores Allowed To Download Albums?
Im a new user and this is my first list. HI! These are 4 albums I bought on Black Friday, in no paticualr order. Before I decided to pick these up I was browsing the racks at F.Y.E. for something by the band Oceansize, they did not have anything in stock, so the an employee told me that they are now allowed to download albums and sell them to customers album art and all. 12.02.09 | @ Yordy Im not exactly sure how the get the album art, but the printing idea makes sense. I think some stores might be doing it to persuad people to still buy physical albums instead of downloading.

12.02.09 | Borders has been doing that for years. I really do think it's to curb illegal downloading. I mean some stores can only stock so much, so having a database full of pretty much everything is optimal for everyone. You can download individual songs too and make mixes. It's a pretty neat idea if you want something on demand. | Award

12.02.09 | If I remember correctly, they do it by song, though whole album prices may be lower (sort of like iTunes). I'm not even sure Borders even carries physical CD's anymore, I know mine here doesn't. I got a lot of great albums on the cheap when they were clearing their stock. | Award
12.02.09 | They still do, or at least the ones here in the STL do. That good to know about the prices though I want a couple of mixtapes that are not available in some stores. |
