tombits 01.12.10	I adore the part in "Nice and Blue (Part Two)" during the second chorus where Aaron yells "Then I saw a forest grow in a city and a driftward wall of birdhouse girds!". Also in "O, Porcupine" where he's like "You'd be well inclined, NOT TO MESS WITH ME!". Yeah pretty much every mewithoutYou song has a really fucking good moment with an excellent lyrics in it.

TMobotron 01.12.10	I love GJ but the part in 5 that youre talking about I just never liked, and it kind of ruined that song for me. IDK I want to like it but it just never happens. And tombits that Nice and Blue part youre talking about I have always loved, probably the single moment that got me into that bands entire discog. My favorite moments right now are: Converge - Fault and Fracture From 2:05 when the drums kick in until the end City of Caterpillar - And You're Wondering... When the build-up finally reaches its climax and the whole "I know you'll choke" part after that. Nas - NY State of Mind "Investments in stocks, sewein up the blocks to sell rocks, winnin gunfights with mega cops But just a nigga, walking with his finger on the trigger" - the part in these lines when the keys and bass line come back in. Mesa Verde - When the Canary Dies Run Like Fuck Apart from probably being my favorite song title ever, "You remember that day/how hard you done fell/when the faith dried up/and all welcomed hell/and the black skies above did empty/you remember their faces/you remember their goodbyes/you remember what it was not to live a lie/and then their backs you saw them turning/sometimes you'll feel/like you're letting yourself down/sometimes you'll feel/like you held your tongue too long" - apart from this whole album being killer, this part especially is fanfuckingtastic.

Asiatic667 01.15.10	My favourite music moment was when I was dressed up as dick van dyke rocking out to WEENs "touch my tooter" with a cucumber halfway up my ass, and my mum came in and yelled what in the f&@k are you doing? and I sat down in suprise and the cucumber slid all the way up
fatlip27 01.17.10	(for lack of a better term) The outros to Between the Buried and Me's "Mordecai" and "Selkies: The Endless Obsession." Also the first guitar solo in "Ants of the Sky." The catchy chorus of "Swim to the Moon." And the clean group vocals in "Aspirations." Those are my favorite Between the Buried and Me moments, picking one part per album :)

Ok, here's my list for Thursday, arranged by albums, from the earliest to the latest: Waiting: "Introduction" leading up to the track "Streaks in the Sky" Full Collapse: The slow pretty part with the piano in "A Hole in the World." War All the Time: "Asleep in the Chapel." Check this out: spoken word part "we woke up this morning to a sky with no air in it and all the streets are filled with a thousand burning crosses and what we thought was the sunrise, just passing headlights (here comes the melody) STILL THE CHOIR GIRLS SING "OH LORD, CAN YOU SAVE US (CAN YOU SAVE US)? OH LORD, SING HALLELUJAH" A City by the Light Divided: This one's easy, it's "Arc-" streamlining into the intro to "Running from the Rain." That song still gives me goosebumps. Common Existence: The last 2 minutes of "Beyond the Visible Spectrum" Thoughts?
Captain North 01.17.10	I only really like War All The Time and Common Existence, but they're odd moments to like. Never really caught me. The last few moments of You Were The Cancer are fucking amazing. And in WATT, the title track "So wave at the people who long to wave back from the fabric of a flag that said LOVE all of the time!"
