Don't Judge Me

This is a list of my favorite albums to listen to without skipping a track. I don't usually have a long enough attention span to listen to a whole album, but for these I think it's worth it. I know, I pretty much don't belong on this site because this is all mainstream and there's no metal, but humor me here. I've tried to post in the past but I've just gotten laughed at because of my tastes. Any rec's for maybe some indie rock, garage rock type stuff, or anything similar to stuff on this list that I might not know about would be appreciated.
1Jimmy Eat World
Futures

All of this band's albums are pretty good, but this one has the most consistently good songs on it (I've only listened through Clarity as a whole once, but I could imagine that one being pretty close too). I always seem to relate to the lyrics in these songs.
2John Mayer Trio
Try! John Mayer Trio in Concert

I pretty much hated John Mayer's guts before I heard this, but the blues and straight forward rock on here drew me in. I didn't like his singing, but it's a lot better on this album. Plus, it doesn't hurt that he plays some wicked solos.
3Less Than Jake
Hello Rockview

I played trombone back in high school, so the horn parts were always a big deal to me on here. It's just an all-around fun album to listen and sing along to.
4Matchbox Twenty
Mad Season

A lot of this album moves along at a slow pace, but the lyrics and songwriting are just amazing. At some points it's neurotic and at others it's calming. It's crazy how a song called "Bed of Lies" can actually be soothing.
5John Mayer
Continuum

After hearing Try! I became really excited for this album to come out. And it was pretty much an instant classic for me.
6Pink Floyd
Dark Side of the Moon

Some people may think it's overrated compared to their other stuff, but I can't stand The Wall (besides Mother and Comfortably Numb) and their earlier stuff is a little bit too weird for me. Probably the best album ever to just sit back and chill to.
7Pink Floyd
Wish You Were Here

Words can't describe how great the title track for this album is. Even though the bookend tracks are over 12 minutes each, it never feels like the songs are too long.
8Derek and the Dominos
Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs

It's hard to believe that an album so full of heartbreak can bring me such joy to listen to. Doesn't get much better Eric Clapton and Duane Allman playing together. I feel like this is one of those overlooked albums that should universally be considered a classic.
9Rise Against
The Sufferer and the Witness

I liked a few songs by this band before I bought this, but it was mostly on a whim. This album rocks pretty hard and even though some of the songs sound similar, they are all good.
10Foo Fighters
There Is Nothing Left To Lose

The self-titled Foo Fighters album easily has the band's (it was really just Dave Grohl back then, but whatever) best songs on it, but I like this album better as a whole. The first half of the album is classic up-tempo Foo Fighters, but I love the mellow feeling you get from the second half of this album. Plus, I could listen to "Learn to Fly" thousands of times and never get tired of it.
11Silversun Pickups
Swoon

This album was only released last year, but it has quickly become one of my favorites. Their first album has better songs on it, but I think the second one is more streamlined and is a less clunky listen. Love the fuzzy guitar effects.
12Coldplay
Viva La Vida

This album actually validated Coldplay's pretentiousness somewhat. Every time people see this on my iPod they make fun of me. And I can agree with them for most of Coldplay's earlier stuff, but this album is pretty great.
