02.04.10 | 10,000 Days is great and their first record I bought upon release and really spent a lot of time with BUT it's not their best nor has a majority of my favorite Tool songs. A great first Tool record and worthy of their catalouge none the less. |
8bit
02.04.10 | That's a good prize. |
AnotherBrick
02.04.10 | well tools other albums are a little heavier which is why i could imagine all of sputnik would like either of them more then 10,000 days but there is just something about that album that makes it my favorite
better start listening emim :) |
Vooligan
02.04.10 | My favourite newer prog albums that need checking out:
Karnivool - Sound Awake
Cog - The New Normal
Sleep Parade - Things Can Always Change
Sydonia - Given To Destroyers
|
AnotherBrick
02.04.10 | ya idk what it is but i get bored of that australian prog stuff pretty quick |
EVedder27
02.04.10 | Karnivool is totally worth it though. New album was really really good. You should definitely get III and IV because the Earth disc absolutely owns (and has a bit of a Mayan Factor vibe). |
AnotherBrick
02.04.10 | the butterfly effect is pry my favorite aussie prog band, i havent checked out karnivools new album yet but i thought there other one was decent |
Mordecai.
02.04.10 | "ya idk what it is but i get bored of that australian prog stuff pretty quick"

Masochist
02.04.10 | Sleep Parade, man...damn, they're so good.
That being said, this whole list is WIN (even though I haven't heard half the albums here). |
WatchItExplode
02.04.10 | Why do people delude themselves into thinking Francis the Mute is worthwhile? |
March_Of_Sand
02.04.10 | I don't know if I'm in the minority or not but for me volume II - the water index was my least favorite from the alchemy indexes. |
Vooligan
02.04.10 | Dude, at least check out Karnivool's new one and Sleep Parade. They're probably the best of the Aussie Prog stuff. |
