iswimfast 02.20.10	@MetalFaceDoom I was considering Hurt, and they be mainstream rock, but honestly, there so unknown that I couldn't include them. @AnotherBrick You just named 3 of the mainstream bands that I dislike the most. Except for Nickelback, Theory of a Deadman, and Saving Abel, who are terrible.

tiesthatbind 02.20.10	Breaking Benjamin rule, Three Days Grace is a guilty pleasure but still overhated, and Seether can't make a great album (imo) but they've made some darn good songs.
thesystemisdown 02.20.10	bb had two pretty all right albums (the first two). Linkin Park really isn't that bad. That Shinedown CD is awful and the first two are a lot better. Vena Sera is awesome as is Chevelle in general. Hurt is real good. Disturbed? or are they metal

tiesthatbind 02.20.10	Well, tbh I haven't given their albums too many listens. It's partly a personal preference I guess, Shaun Morgan's voice just does NOT captivate me for a whole album. The only album I've really given much time with them is Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces.
JWT155 02.20.10	I'd say Disclaimer is their best record and then Karma and Effect, also One Cold Night is one of my favorite live albums. Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces is a good record but I'd also say it's their weakest. Definitely check out or listen to Disclaimer more.
tiesthatbind 02.20.10	I've heard some of Disclaimer, it's just too much angsty nu-metal for me. (From what I've heard) Karma and Effect might be better, the first 3 songs are amazing then I think I lost interest after that, I'll give that one another shot. The first 3 tracks on there are probably the best Seether songs I've heard.

tiesthatbind 02.20.10	I dunno, for me, they're the kind of band that I could make a CD of my favorite songs by them, and it would sound amazing. As for their individual albums, there just seems to be too much filler (again just imo). But Karma and Effect did seem like a decent album, I'm gonna try that out again soon.

tiesthatbind 02.20.10	You should listen to Innocence and Instinct. It's pretty good. I don't love it as much as some on here, but it's a solid 3.5 for me. And Chevelle is overrated in my opinion.

JWT155 02.21.10	And I would hardly call Radiohead mainstream when it comes to radio-play, Creep's the only Radiohead song I've ever heard on the radio.
couldwinarabbit 02.21.10	@Jwt155. Kid A was the number one best selling album for a time when it came out and it is way less alternative then ok computer. When/ if another Radiohead album comes out the singles will be on top 40 radio way more then any of these albums listed above.
JWT155 02.21.10	Bullshit, Radiohead aren't top 40 friendly at all because too many ignorant fucks in the US would rather hear Taylor Swift and a new R&B song with T-Pain in it then Radiohead. I'll almost bet my life that Radiohead will never have a successfully high top 40 single in the US.
couldwinarabbit 02.21.10	Paranoid Android was in the top 10 when they released it as the first single. (which was a really bad-ass move)...that may have been international/uk charts though. Didn't optimistic get famous for a while too. And when Radiohead played it at the grammy's they couldn't stop laughing cause people thought it was this upbeat song?
JWT155 02.21.10	As far as I'm reading online, the only 3 Radiohead songs ever to be in the top 40 in the US are Creep, High and Dry and Nude which made a quick exit. I'm not sure about the Grammy reference though I know they opened up the 2009 Grammy's with 15 steps with the USC marching band.
