However I watched the Brit awards last night in some shallow hope Thom Yorke would crash the party an announce an new album. But MPP was nominated for album of the year across the pond. I don't like the album but it goes to show how much smarter the Brit masses are then the N.A masses.

FeralMemories 03.06.10	Totally agree with 1,5. 2 is overrated except for De-loused. Napalm Death is not however, I think their vocals are best in the genre save for Pig Destroyer's. Horse The Band is a fun band, not supposed to be taken seriously.

They have three of the ten best rock albums of all time. I'd say the only pop band to have more impact on music is the Beatles Also if one of you metal kids says it was Black Sabbath or Led Zepplin who got metal going you're wrong. It was the one rolling stones song.

Both have distorted, loud guitars, but it wasn't until Black Sabbath wrote "Black Sabbath" (on Black Sabbath lol) that metal was born. It's barely a step above that's prog only site. Not all metal is bad. I'm just saying the style created by the Rolling Stones, which carried over into metal doesn't require as much skill as a more traditional method. Just as Bob Dylan was critized for using electric guitar in Highway 61 Revisited because an electric guitars require less skill than a acoustic guitar.

IRAI 03.06.10	i hate me some of the napalm death vocals for a couple of their albums(the breed to breathe album, especially), but they still rule. and their last 3 albums are masterful, along with their first 2 albums, but the live versions of their shitty record versions make me smile. their punishment in capitals live CD has a version of the song breed to breathe, and its one of my all time favorite tracks by them, even though the record version BLOWS so much i cant stand it. theyre not overrated in the slightest either, thats like calling any pioneer of any genre overrated for what its done. and since now there are some bands that are "better" than them in that regard, i find them underrated, as ppl will not find them to be one of the major bands to listen to for the genre, when the genre is indebted to them.
