Coheed Ranked

This list is WITHOUT Year of the Black Rainbow because I refuse to download and/or listen to it until I have purchased it.
4 Coheed and Cambria
Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow

A lot of people didn't really enjoy this release from Coheed. I am not one of them. I mean sure they wrote
more poppy songs for this record, but jeez the musicianship is still obviously there and some songs retain
the classic Coheed sound. Even though this is my least favorite album by them, I still enjoy it a lot.
3 Coheed and Cambria
Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness

It took me a long time to get used to FFTTEOM, but once I did, I realized how much more mature they
grew as musicians even though they were already really good based on previous releases. These songs feel
a lot darker to me as well.
2 Coheed and Cambria
In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth:3

The album that got me into Coheed. My friend showed me "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth:3" live at
the Starland Ballroom and I was blown away. After I bought this album I officially became a Coheed fan.
1 Coheed and Cambria
Second Stage Turbine Blade

Now one might argue (and if speaking in complete logistics would be true) that since I have ranked Coheed's albums in
sequential order, that they have gotten progressively worse. This is not the case. For me, I just enjoyed
the first albums more then the later albums. All of the albums are awesome, but really the first two for me
are truly spectacular. Second Stage Turbine Blade, for me, was the hardest album to get used to by them.
Now that I've listened to it a good 1000, times, I've decided that this is my favorite Coheed album if not
one of my favorite albums period.
