Most Consistent Bands

All of these bands have had four albums or more, all of which are of great quality. Consistent bands can be trusted with making every album worth getting, never disappoint, and meet the hype they get. These, perhaps, are the most valuable bands out there.
1Neurosis

Set their current sound with Souls At Zero and have made amazing albums
since then, for nearly twenty years, and perhaps being the most influential
metal bands of the '90s.
2Deftones

Adrenaline was a great album, but the band took off after that, spreading
their wings to genres such as shoegaze and trip-hop that add to their
alternative metal sound. Diamond Eyes is proof that this band will continue
to do great things.
3Opeth

Nine albums in and each one is great. Swedish death metal has incredibly
high standards within itself, but Opeth remains kings of Swedish brutality
and beauty, at the same time.
4Tool

I can't think of any band that takes longer to make an album, but Tool
certainly makes it worthwhile, with both Ænima and Lateralus being
masterpieces.
5Mastodon

Four albums and each has its own distinct sound. The fact that everyone
argues over which album is best shows how great this band is.
6Isis

One of the most important Neurosis influenced bands, the masters of post-
metal never let anyone down with the mind-melting albums produced.
7Cult of Luna

Maybe I love post-metal too much, but even the heavier, sludge metal
albums that came before Salvation (their magnum opus) will blow you
away.
8Meshuggah

More mind-melting metal, this time using seemingly random time signatures
and pure technical brutality (with the occasional jazzy solo) being perfected
and continued (in variations) since 1995.
9Converge

Metalcore gods unleashing the fury of emotions that many of us have felt
(particularly after a serious relationship ends) in musical form since 1990
and perfecting with Jane Doe.
10Thrice

A lot like Deftones, but younger and post-hardcore based. First album
wasn't that great, but from the usual post-hardcore sound with The Illusion
of Safety to the experimentation started with Vheissu, they simply don't let
down.
