Albums I've Given 5/5 Too

Well, now that I have ten 5 albums, I've decided to make a list -- NOTE: The Worst Band Ever [part Eight] will be coming tonight!
1Between The Buried And Me
Colors

Experimental, groundbreaking, and just amazing from start to finish.
2 Buckethead
The Elephant Man's Alarm Clock

One of Buckethead's best. Combines all the elements that makes him such an eclectic guitarist- avant-garde moments, blistering shred soloing, funk, melodic sections, and other stuff.
3Faith No More
Angel Dust

Was a 4.5 for me, until recently, I bumped it up. Why? Because the more I listen to this, the better it gets. A very complex and challenging record, but give it time and it will grow on you.
4Gatling
Hen In A Pumpkin

A zany and unpredictable listen, sporting multiple genres within the same songs. All instrumental aside from voice samples. You MUST hear this, very underrated.
5Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To

One of the best post-rock albums I've ever heard, and probably one of the best albums period. Granted, some of the ambient sections go on for a bit too long, but it all adds to the experience, which is exactly what this album is: an experience.
6Mr. Bungle
California

This is really just a fantastic record. All the songs live their own lives but they somehow all come together in the perfect way. This album is another grower, similar to the way Angel Dust is (which make sense, considering Mike Patton is the lead vocalist on both albums).
7 NOFX
45 or 46 Songs That Weren't Good Enough

This album is just so entertaining that I couldn't not give it a 5. Two discs, featuring rare NOFX tracks (plus a never before released one). A must have for any NOFX fan. Hilarious liner notes too.
8Opeth
Blackwater Park

Progressive metal done very, very well. Every song on here somehow retains an element of the previous one while still being original and unique. The heavy-soft transitions are perfect too.
9Opeth
Still Life

A darker album than Blackwater Park (in some parts, anyway) but just as good, if not better, than it. A concept album set in medieval times, the album does have that medieval feel to it at points but contains some of the best songs Opeth has ever done.
10Praxis
Transmutation (Mutatis Mutandis)

A very bizarre and unpredictable album, mixing funk, metal, ambient dub, jazz, and other genres. The transitions can be jarring (but are that way on purpose). Superb listen, the only letdown being the far too long ending track.
