| Converge Setlist
saw Converge tonight. they did not headline (Thursday did, but I was close to passing out by this time). Opening bands, Lewd Acts and Touche Amore (both amazing, especially the latter). Converge put on an amazing show, with some surprising picks. i only know for sure that the first 4 and last 4 songs are correct, the middle is an attempt, probably generally correct, but maybe not. basically. the most emotionally charged, crushing, incredible set I've ever seen. right up front too. Also met Jacob Bannon and Kurt Ballou. | 1 | Converge Concubine | 2 | Band Dark Horse | 3 | Heartache | 4 | Hellbound | 5 | Lonewolves | 6 | Hanging Moon | 7 | No Heroes | 8 | Cutter | 9 | Distance And Meaning | 10 | Reap What You Sow | 11 | Wishing Well | 12 | Damages | 13 | Orphaned | 14 | Axe To Fall | 15 | Dead Beat | 16 | First Light | 17 | Eagles Become Vultures | 18 | The Broken Vow | 19 | Drop Out | 20 | Last Light | |
Flatliner
05.02.10 | wheres the saddest day? | SpritzSpritz
05.02.10 | Highlights:
Concubine
Cutter
Distance and meaning(they PLAY this?)
Orphaned (so surprising)
Axe to Fall
The broken Vow
Drop Out (the guitar riff at the end is... godly)
One of the best shows of my life. was very happy with the setlist, seeing as they didn;t headline the show. | ThePalestMexican
05.02.10 | No Heaven in Her Arms?
=C | SpritzSpritz
05.02.10 | surprisingly not, and they probably would have played either the saddest day or jane doe had they been headlining/ played an encore. disappointing, yes, but it doesnt matter. | Captain North
05.02.10 | Pretty lame that they don't really do their slow songs. | Captain North
05.02.10 | A mix is always best. Also, I don't think I could survive a Converge set. I'd have to get seriously fit first. | SpritzSpritz
05.02.10 | i made it up until last light. then i had to get the fuck out. i was covered in spit, bannon's drool (he drools a lot), and sweat. | cvlts
05.02.10 | ^so they played after last light? | AbyssalCreation
05.02.10 | sounds pretty good minus no Saddest Day or Heaven in Her Arms. Also how can tehy play Concubine without Fault and Fracture those two go together like peanut butter and jelly | SpritzSpritz
05.02.10 | nah, i meant i made it up until after drop out and had to get the hell out before last light.
and I wouldv'e greatly enjoyed fault and fracture, but its all good. | cvlts
05.02.10 | seein these guys for the first time on the 13th. cant wait. | sniper
05.02.10 | Omggggg I hope they play Distance and Meaning when I see them. This setlist rules, holy shit. How long did they play for, because this is a long setlist, even if the songs are all like 2 minutes. | Enotron
05.02.10 | Distance and Meaning is probably my favorite song on Jane Doe. I'd imagine it would be amazing live. | sniper
05.02.10 | Distance and Meaning is so underrated. I love how weird that main riff is, it feels like the song is spinning around.
Also, I think that riff is the reason Daughter's Hell Songs even exists. | Enotron
05.02.10 | Ahaha, definitely. I just love how atonal the chorus is. |
