My Top 10 Alice Cooper Albums
My top 10 favorite Alice Cooper albums...my opinion and if you don't agree, that's fine! |
1 | | Alice Cooper Brutal Planet
This was the first album when Alice went Industrial...he took a very different turn and made it the best. On top of his intense lyrics, the guitar work of Ryan Roxie and Phil X(in the studio)..makes every song very heavy. |
2 | | Alice Cooper Dragontown
Another Industrial album that was the follow up of "Brutal Planet". Great songs from the album are Deeper, Sister Sara, Dragontown, Sex Death and Money and Triggerman. |
3 | | Alice Cooper Love It to Death
Produced by Bob Ezrin, this album brought the band into the media. Their first radio hit "I'm Eighteen", is just one of the songs on this album. Others are Ballad of Dwight Frye, Second Coming, Is it my Body, Black Juju, Caught in a Dream and more. |
4 | | Alice Cooper Killer
A great Alice album. Songs include Killer, Dead Babies, You Drive Me Nervous, Under My Wheels and Be My Lover. The Killer tour is also when Alice started hanging himself on stage. |
5 | | Alice Cooper Billion Dollar Babies
Another album produced by Bob Ezrin with huge hits such as Billion Dollar Babies, No More Mr. Nice Guy, Elected, I Love the Dead and more. |
6 | | Alice Cooper Constrictor
This is the first album with guitar player Kane Roberts. After battling a very tough fight with alcohol..Alice sobered up and from this album taped his "Nightmare Returns" tour, which was said to be one of his greatest concerts. |
7 | | Alice Cooper Welcome to my Nightmare
This was Alice's first album as a solo act. After the Muscle of Love album, Alice wanted to keep going and his band mates did not. This concept album is a story about a boy named Steven. |
8 | | Alice Cooper Trash
Although this is one of my favorite albums, it was not a well-known album because of the 80's Hair Metal. It was a very edgy album and mixed hard rock with 80's metal. Special guest by Steven Tyler of Aerosmtih on It's Only My Hart Talkin'. |
9 | | Alice Cooper The Last Temptation
Another concept album with great guitar riffs. This album tells the story of Steven (from Welcome to my Nightmare) and was considered to be Alice's first metal album. |
10 | | Alice Cooper Hey Stoopid
After his album Trash, Alice needed something to keep his success going. The titled track is about suicidal teenagers, "hey stupid..whatcha trying to do?", "I know you've been kicked around, you ain't alone in this ugly town". Guest appearances by Slash, Ozzy, Vinnie Moore, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars. |
