4.0 - Jazz Fusion/World Music from Tunisia. At last, another 4 star release. This one is a very peculiar, eclectic release with catchy jazz explorations and indigestible screeching of the vocalist. Highly recommended album, combing the best of traditional arabic music and jazz fusion. |

3.0 - Electronic/Art Pop from Norway. Was so close to being the "Lovetune for Vaccuum" of 2010. This album is quirky, beautiful and quite disturbing. There are two standouts, "It's All Gone Tomorrow" and "The Brothel', and the rest are solid. If the rest of the tracks were like those highlights, we wouldve had a new best album of 2010.... |
