-better Connections

Some new, some old.
1System of a Down
Toxicity

My first metuhl album. I would play Prison Song and Chop Suey over and
over and over and over again. So surprised I didn't wear the CD out. First
band to propel me into heavier music. Not always better though, because
this still slays.
2Limp Bizkit
Significant Other

It wouldn't be a feit list without these guys, would it? Anyway though, one of my
first loved bands, and still are. I loved Fred Durst's angry I don't give a fuck, yet
still sensitive attitude. Shaped me into the sagging pants, red capped bro I am
today. ;)
3TLC
CrazySexyCool

My first chick album. Before this I thought any music with a women singing
was for fags/chicks. But this changed that.
4N Sync
No Strings Attached

Fuck yeah a boy band. This, is probably the first band I loved, not gonna lie.
It kind of sorta turned me on to more sensitive, emotional music. Even saw
them live.
5Alice In Chains
Dirt

Omggggg this album. This was my religion in 7th grade. Listened to it damn
near everyday. Hate to Feel and Dirt are still probably my favorites off of this.
6Eminem
The Marshall Mathers LP

The first rapper that I loved, probably the same for a lot of people. But even
as a 7 year old this was one of my favorite albums. And yes, my mom let me
listen to it. (Even she loves it xD). This is where I got my snotty, immature
attitude from.
7Deftones
White Pony

Actually only got this album a few months ago, but this has shaped me
almost more than any other album. The atmospherics are just so haunting
and Chino's vox have so much passion it's hard not to love.
8Brand New
The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me

Also a newer one, but this has helped me through so much these past few
months. Jesus Christ and Degausser encompass pretty much exactly how I
feel at the end of the day, behind my happy go lucky attitude during the
day.
9Radiohead
Kid A

omg this is totally turning into a gay, sputnik list. But seriously, this helped
me a lot a few months ago. The desperate, ethereal sounds of "How to
Disappear Completely" still get me. And totally bring me back to a few
moments in my earlier junior high/ high school years
10Kid Rock
Devil Without A Cause

There we go, this should even things out. If I were to ever be a nice,
normal kid. This was the end. I didn't know what "I'm gonna paint his town
red, then paint his wife white UHHHH" meant. But I fucking loved it.
Between the chilled out songs like "Wasting Time" and "I Got One For Ya",
this absolutely owns.
