Freight Freight Train Comin'

Albums that got me into music when I was an angsty teen. I don't really listen to them any more, nor love them as much as I used to, but they get props for leading me further into music. Without them I wouldn't have found Sputnik and spent my time writing this list while listening to ATDI. Some might consider them shameful, but to each his own. So what started your angst-ridden teenage musical interests?
1Linkin Park
Hybrid Theory

Probably my most played album ever. Seeing these guys live soon, purely to satisfy the 12 year old in me. Still good for a spin every now and then.
2 Martin O' Donnell
Halo 2, Vol. 2 OST

Yep, I was a halo addicted teen too. Music was pretty good for being in a video game.
3Bullet For My Valentine
The Poison

Probably the only band on here I can't listen to anymore, not even for nostalgia. There's just something irksome about them. Still, album is by far their best.
4Evanescence
Fallen

Uncle gave me this album, absolutely loved it at the time. Nice, simple fun music, even if it is a tad commercial.
5Killswitch Engage
As Daylight Dies

I really can't listen to much post-AOJB Killswitch these days, but back in the day I loved these guys. My Curse is still nice for a spin every now and then.
6DragonForce
Inhuman Rampage

WOOOOO! I had this album stuck on repeat for many, many months. Got my love of DragonForce off my older cousin who loved two things: Warcraft and Power Metal. Not a good combination.
7Disturbed
Ten Thousand Fists

I can still stand a few songs off this, surprisingly, even if it was a bit less mature than Indestructible. Also had this stuck on repeat.
8 Limp Bizkit
Three Dollar Bill Y'all

I used to love Fred Durst. Now, not so much. But nostalgia's a bitch, and sometimes Counterfeit, Pollution, and especially Everything find their way onto my ipod listening roster. Everything is underrated.
9Dio
Holy Diver

Good album, even if I don't love it as much as I used to nowadays. But I'm still a little Rainbow in the Dark. Who's with me!?
10Iron Maiden
The Number of the Beast

This album pretty much marks the end of my angsty teen phase and the beginning of the rest of my life. Album pretty much inspired me to pick up the bass.
