02.06.07 | Bad Religion is probably a good choice. Also checkout Strung Out and A Wilhelm Scream. Both of them are a mix of melodic punk and technique oriented heavy metal. |

02.07.07 | AFI is IMO the best punk band out there. I love their new stuff but if you want more of a purist punk sound try "Art of Drowning" or "Black Sails in the Sunset" by them. |
