This and Abbey Road are in a never ending battle to become my favorite Beatles album. Depends on the day.

Is one of my few 5s. Such tangible emotion. Re: Stacks gets me every time.

I keep debating with myself whether or not to leave this as a 5. But every time I listen to it I really dig it so 5 it is.

Another one of my 5s. Absolutely love this album. After seeing them live, this album carries even more weight for me.

So ridiculously good. An EP just rarely feels like a whole hearted effort by a band and that's what usually keeps them off my 5 list.

The Everglow

Has so much emotional weight for me. Once I really bit into the concept and cohesiveness of this album it just shot all the way to the top of my favorites. Unlike some other albums on this list, the emotion of this album makes up for a few less than perfect songs. Even though there are tons of albums that are musically superior to this, I don't feel like you can always judge music objectively and more or less make it into a math problem. Music's ability to speak to our emotions and make us feel is what truly makes it art and what truly makes it mean something to us. As of right now The Everglow is my favorite album.
